With great sadness we mark the passing of a person who's love for paddling was only eclipsed buy the love she showered on her family and others.

Always a friend to those in need, and always ready to help and support her family and her extended family also.
Julie was a special person who if you had the chance to paddle with her she would have had a profound effect on you,  on your paddling and most likely the rest of your life as well. Juile was a Texas Water Safari finishing racer, a respected Canoe and Kayak Instructor, and most recently a Hawaiian Lavaman Triathlon finishing racer too.

Julie was a professional with Abbott and had many accomplishments and accolades during her 20 + years with the company.

You can view lots more Julie pictures on this website (click here).

And if you wish you voice your thoughts online, you can at the Julie blog  (click here).

Without Julie there would have been no intercity kids paddles, there would have been no City of Coppell Denton Creek cleanups, no adaptive paddling classes and without Julie their most likely would not have been a kayakpower.com.

We Love You and we miss you very very much!
