In order to make your experience more enjoyable, here are a few guidelines.
Dress:
Dress appropriate to the weather. Items to consider may be:
SUNBLOCK
Lip balm
Hat
Sunglasses with sports strap
Water shoes (no flip flops – people tend to lose them)
Swim trunks or other types of water shorts/shirts (polyester is best, not cotton)
Towel
Change of clothes
Misc:
Other items of interest, depending on your personal needs:
WATER
or other hydrating liquid (e.g. Gatorade or sports drink)
Snacks (if you need)
Medicine (for example, if you are allergic to bee stings, are diabetic, have asthma,
etc.) Please notify an instructor if you may have need for these items during the
class.
Rules:
Gotta have ‘em to keep everybody safe.
While on the water, a pfd (personal floatation device) must be worn at all
times
.
Consumption of alcohol or illegal drugs before or during class will not be
tolerated.
You are ultimately responsible for your own safety.
Before participating, the waiver and release of liability must be signed and
returned to an instructor.
